Our April meeting will be held on April 1st at the usual location (KNB133 at the U of C).
Noah Fallis will be speaking to us about his photography, life, the Universe, and everything.
The print competition theme is “Opposites”.
The March meeting will be held on March 4th in the usual location (KNB133 at the U of C).
Peter Gold, of the Camera Store, will be speaking about his photography.
The print competition theme for March is Fashion.
The February 4th meeting will also by our 2009 Annual General Meeting. (We’ll try and keep it quick and painless)
All executive positions are up for grabs (President, Secretary and Treasurer). The other positions are appointed.
We would like to continue the discussion of a venue change. If anyone has any ideas for something central, accessible by transit, with affordable/available parking, allow easier mingling, and allow us to have food and drink (Coffee / snacks) please pass the information to the executive.
We would also like to discuss a change to the print competition where voting is done by popular demand since it’s getting more and more difficult to recruit judges.
You will need to have your membership paid up before you are able to participate in the AGM.

As usual there will be both an open and theme print competition. The theme for February is “metal”.
Greetings to all and a happy new year! I hope you enjoyed some R+R during the holiday season. I'm looking foreward to a new year of photographic opportunities and hopefully some great print entries. The 1st meeting of 2009 will be this Wednesday, January the 9th. Meetings are held at the University of Calgary, in the Kinesiology "B" building in room KNB133. Meetings start at 7:30pm.
Our guest speaker will be glamour/boudoir/nude shooter Dale Hannaford .
Our print competition theme will be "Architecture".
Just a reminder: Memberships are up for renewal this month and you will need to be a paid member before voting in the Febuary AGM.
